I just ran across a post that the greatest thoughts happen in the shower.
My wife would agree. ‘Shower Thoughts‘, not ‘Midnight Thoughts‘, mean more to her.
Not to me! (Is that a surprise to anyone?)
I wouldn’t agree with her. In fact, I protest. (Bet that gets me some special treatment for the rest of the week…)
For me, it’s all those hours that surround the midnight hour. Maybe it’s a well ingrained habit left over from my college days, or to put it better, my college nights.
It’s when I get motivated and imaginative and the brain swirls like a dryer with a full load of clothes, tossing thoughts around and around until they’re ready to be taken out.
But in all fairness, let’s give some attention to ‘Shower Thoughts‘.
Here are twenty, given as a slide presentation.
# 8 – If humans could fly, we’d consider it exercise and never do it.
#15 – If people on a planet 65 million light years away look at earth, they see dinosaurs.
As for my wife’s ‘shower thoughts’…? They’re nothing like these. Instead, the shower is where she gets all of her ideas and where clarity of mind occurs.
How about you? Where are you when your greatest thoughts come to the surface?
