Worrying doesn’t take away tomorrow’s troubles, it takes away today’s peace.
It is one of the better lessons learned in life to realize worry is a fruitless activity of the mind. It can, in fact, move well past being a waste of time and become destructive.
So to get rid of worry, decide what to do to get past it and then take action. It will restore some peace of mind knowing that you made a decision and moved forward towards a resolution.
Save tomorrow’s troubles… for tomorrow. You’ll find that come tomorrow, that trouble has vanished because the worry ended.
Worry often gives a small thing a big shadow. ~ Swedish Proverb
